Airshrink SA is a South African company, originally established in 1986 to manufacture the then novel Airshrink sleeving. The product finds applications as an alternative to Heatshrink

In October 2001 the company changed ownership. The new management soon realized that growth lay in diversification into Heatshrink and associated products. Development of equipment and products began in earnest early in 2002 and today the company can boast with a range of heatshrink products, manufactured at it new plant, situated at 178 Tarry Road, Alrode South.
Where possible, local raw materials are used as the company is committed to supporting local industry.

New Heatshrink Products Include: 
        
► Thin and medium wall
► VW 1 flame retardant product for automotive industry
► High shrink ratio products with shrink ratios of up to 5 : 1
► Green/Yellow earthing sleeves (other colours available)
► Adhesive lined, as continuous tubing or precut sleeves

Besides new products and service quality was identified as a critical factor and the company received its ISO 9001/2000 certification in January 2005.
